Major Mooney has told an imbedded reporter from ABC that just because they were a peacekeeping force they would not tolerate any fire upon the UN troops. Major Mooney has therefore ordered two operations to decisively defeat the insurgents, a two platoon attack into the ruins surrounding the FOB and the British platoon to clear Rahthkabir.
x2 Platoon (B and C) + x1 FAC + x1 FOO + Sniper Team into Area 71 (area surrounding FOB)
x1 Platoon (A) + x1 Dog + x1 Sniper into Area 54 (town of Rahthkabir)
D company remains in defense of the FOB
How it unfolded:
'A' Platoon moved out of the FOB but was soon bogged down in minefields, IEDs and insurgent ambushes. 'A' Platoons attack on Rahthkabir became impossible and the platoon ended the day extracting itself from the mire around the FOB. Major Mooney has placed 'A' Platoon in reserve, ready to take over from 'B' and 'C' if their attack stalls. Miraculously, 'A' Platoon extracted itself with a single casualty.
'B' and 'C' Platoon have formed up and the insurgents have shown no sign of fading away in front of the attack, the insurgents are dug in and desire nothing more than for the UN forces to enter the killing ground.

x2 Platoon (B and C) + x1 FAC + x1 FOO + Sniper Team into Area 71 (area surrounding FOB)
AND
Insurgent Groups of strength 5, 3 and 1.
